  • Temple of San Antonio de Padua

    It's one of the most important religious temple in the Nacajuca municipality. It have a Gothic style. It was built of quarry that gives it a special touch. Explore Nacajuca, find out it church , share a photo and live experiences on this route.

  • Tucta communities

    Tucta community is part of the Yokot'an(Chontal) ethnic group , which is currently distributed in the municipalities of Nacajuca and center of the State of Tabasco. This community develops the weaves of Palma de Junco and Lirio Acuático (Aquatic lilies) activity that are use for make bags, hats, petates and more crafts that are true art pieces.

  • Ceramic workshops Madre Muriel (Muriel Mother)

    Pottery tradition since 1980 recognized for the high quality and design of its products made with area mud. Those chontales artisan make dishes, pots and home decoration items. Foun out Nacajuca and take art into your home.

  • Embroidered strip handicraft workshops

    This route is very known for its gastronomy but famous for its embroidered strip handicraft, important part of the traditional Tabasco woman suit.   • Coronel Gregorio Méndez Magaña Museum House

    This museum is located in what was Colonel Gregorio Méndez Magaña's house who headed the Jahuactal battle in 1863 achieving the expulsion of the French army of the Tabasco territory. It preserves the property cultural goods and disseminates the community traditions and customs exhibiting oils, armaments and decorative objects of the nineteenth century.

  • “Jícaras Labradas” Workshops

    The Jícara Labrada is one of the most genuine, beautiful and representative crafts of Jalpa de Méndez municipality. From the fruit of the “jícaro” tree and turned into beautiful crafts by yokotanes hands you can't miss the opportunity to live the experience of visiting those handicraft workshops.
