  • Historic Center (Light Zone)

    Old city quarter known as “Zona Luz” is the place where history, culture and fun is combined. Walking on the streets you will find the authentic flavour of this riverside city and a variety of outdoor shops, art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, museums and public squares.

  • Malls

    If you like shopping, Villahermosa offers you places and malls with the well-know brands, visit Gallerías Tabasco or Altabrisa that has movie theaters, coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants, travel agencies and recognized department stores such as Liverpool, Sears and Palacio de Hierro.

  • José Narciso Rovirosa Natural History Museum

    Inaugurated in 2000, the museum offers you a trip throgout the man's history where you will find 351 pieces of high cultural and anthropological value including dinosaurs skeletons of The Mesozoic,utensils and tools, and halls about flora and fauna of Tabasco throgout time.

  • “La Venta” Park Museum

    One of the must visit location in Tabasco is “La Venta” Museum Park, the only outdoor museum in Latin America dedicated to archeology since 1958. In this park you will find a natural jungle atmosphere with original achaeological pieces of the Olmeca culture.

  • Naughty Children Fountain

    The fountain of “Los niños traviesos (naughty children)” is certainly a Villahermosa's icon. It was sculpted by Augusto Escobedo and inaugurated in 1962. It is catalogued as an artistic monument by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) and it is located at the crossroads of Paseo Usumacinta and February 27.

  • Tabasco 2000 Planetarium

    Cataloged like one of the most important of the country along with those of Tijuana, Monterrey and Puebla. This modern architecture has a capacity for 313 spectators. It has a wide semicircular stage and concave screen especially designed to shown films through the Omnimax system. You can admire in it Montuy's mural considered like “The sixtine chapel of the mayan world.” Don't forget to check billboard!

  • Tomás Garrido Park

    You can touring aroud this tourist atractive located next to the “La Venta” Museum Park that offers you endless attractions of between nature and culture. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Lagoon of Illusions and practice Urban Rappel in the Mirador de las Águilas (Eagles viewpoint)

  • Villahermosa Cultural Center

    Descover this vanguard architecture space where artistic and culture expressions are in with painting, sculpture and music exhibitions. Visit the 6 exhibition rooms. The Cultural Center is a few steps from the Zona Luz (light zone) in the Villahermosa's downtown.

  • Bicentennial Square

    As part of the Zona Luz (light zone) tour you will find the Bicentennial Square that was inaugurated on September 15, 2010 as part of the celebrations of the 200th Anniversary of the Mexico Independence. Walk through this esplanade, admire the Government Palace and find the ideal place for your photos.

  • Regional Anthropology Museum “Carlos Pellicer Cámara”

    In this majestic enclosure is protects the original pieces of the Olmec, Mayan, Mexica, Zapotec, Mixtec, Totonac, Teotihuacan and Tolteca culture. Among them, one of the famous mayan inscriptions where they predicted 'The end of the world' in 2012.It's cataloged as the second most important museum in Mexico and it's only surpassed by the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City.

  • Tabasco's History Museum

    Better known as La casa de los azulejos (The tile house), this 19th century place takes you on a trip throughout Tabasco's history. Since it foundation to our days. It show city's objects and photos. It's also the headquarters of exhibitions, conferences, children's workshops, concerts and plays.

  • ANP Yumka
